Although not yet providing 100% coverage of the Oregon and Washington Pacific Crest Trail, the more recent site maps include elevation and distance information, along with landmarks and areas of interest near the trail.
Campgrounds, roads and towns are noted along with all nearby trails (many day hikes can include the PCT for a segment of a loop or OAB). Trail stats to be updated as maps are refreshed.
Each map page noted below includes a link to the Pacific Crest Trail Association for current conditions, with plenty of other useful information on their site and also on their Twitter and Facebook pages.
National Forest: contains the link to the PCT page for each forest area.
When exploring new areas, be sure to locate the ranger station nearest the trail, and call or stop by to talk to them about trail conditions, camping and other information. See the Pacific NW NF Site for active closures.
Hover over the profile icons to view the elevation map, with stats which represent one-way travel. Profile Map direction is mostly oriented from upper to lower elevation, with Ascent and Descent shown for those with advanced climbing and technical skills who may wish a more aggresive ascent.
See the PCTA Community section for more information and how to get involved and connect with others.
Sort by column and/or search/filter by word (e.g. Select 'Name' from the pulldown menu, type in 'Rdg.', then click on any column header).
Trailhead Elevation: Elevations above 3000' may still have snow into July. More extreme terrain tends to be found at higher elevations.
