Review
West of the Rat Pac trail, there are some fireroad connectors to plenty of other singletrack. The hills are steep enough for some fun downhill, making this a very popular local ride.
Not really a destination ride, but Roslyn is certainly a good mountainbike destination, so these trails get a lot of use.
A CW loop of these trails is described in the guide, but there are several other good routes which cover most of the terrain.
The fireroad portion of Number Six is one of several ways to ascend the hillside.
Some smaller loops can be made of Ewok and Todd's Route, with the other mix of singletrack in that area.
The West Fork Teanaway Ridge area, just north of Rat Pac, is covered on the Sandstone Creek page.
