Service Tr35 follows an old skid road for 1mi through open stands of spruce to Deadhorse Meadow, then crosses FR8831 and continues across Smoky and Little Goose Creeks before merging with Middle Tr26 just northwest of Little Goose Campground.

Sections of Service Tr35 follow the original wagon route into the forest built in the early 1900s.
Middle Tr26 offers undulating terrain past Little Goose Lakes and Cultus Creek, finishing with a 2mi, 800' (8% grade) climb to the Surprise Lakes area.
The relatively flat terrain should not be a challenge for most riders, and makes these trails suitable for cross country skiing as well.
Nearby Lemei Tr34 and East Crater Tr48 are within the Indian Heaven Wilderness area and suitable for cross country skiing.
The lack of technical challenge prevents these trails from being considered a destination ride, but if camping in the area or looking for more terrain to ride then Service Tr35 and Middle Tr26 are worth checking out.

- 2.1mi: Go across FR8831 then cross Smoky Creek. Cross FR152 and FR158 then reach Middle Tr26.
- 4.1mi: Service Tr35 ends near the Little Goose Campground, and ride continues on Middle Tr26. Cross several branches of Little Goose Creek then cross FR020 at 5.8mi.
- 6.7mi: Short climb out of the Cultus Creek drainage, then cross FR091 and FR100, and drop into the Meadow Creek marsh area.
- 7.3mi: Climb 820' to the top of the Surprise Lakes Butte, to the upper Middle Tr26 TH, near the Surprise Lakes Campground. Return.
