Johnson Medra Trail 1383, Jungle Creek Trail 1383.1 and Koppen Mountain Trail 1225 Area Mountain Biking and Hiking Topo Map

Map includes: Bean Creek Trail 1391.1, Beverly Turnpike Trail 1391, Boulder De Roux Trail 1392, Deroux Spur Trail 1392.1, Iron Peak Trail 1399, Johnson Medra Trail 1383, Jungle Creek Trail 1383.1, Koppen Mountain Trail 1225, Middle Fork Teanaway Trail 1393, North Fork Teanaway Trail 1358 and Way Creek Trail 1235 Mountain Biking and Hiking Trails.

TH: From the FR9701 TH, descend the Way Creek drainage on Way Creek Tr1235 to Middle Fork Teanaway Tr1393.

1.5mi: Go right on Middle Fork Teanaway Tr1393 and navigate the many creek crossings, as the trail repeatedly meanders across the Teanaway Middle Fork.

4.8mi: Cross Jolly Creek then pass the Jolly Creek Tr1355 intersection on the left. Cross the Medra Creek then pass the Johnson Medra Tr1383 intersection on the right at 5.8mi.

7.4mi: Pass the Skookum Basin Tr1393.2 intersection on the left. The ascent gets steeper as the trail traverses the base of Koppen Mountain.

8.4mi: Go right onto Deroux Spur Tr1392.1, then ascend .3mi to the Koppen Mountain saddle and go right onto Koppen Mountain Tr1225.

9.6mi: Complete the most intense ascent of the ride, reaching the Koppen Mountain ride summit.

11.1mi: After a gradual descent over very rough ridgeline terrain, pass through the Johnson Medra Tr1383 intersection, then approach the Malcolm Mountain ridgeline at 12.6mi, followed by the final descent to Way Creek Tr1235.

13.7mi: Go right onto Way Creek Tr1235, with a continuation of the gradual descent leading to a 1mi, 17% switchback ride to the TH.
