The Clackamas Oregon Red Lake Trail to Lodgepole Tr706 are two moderate trails which cover the very popular Lake Olallie interlake backcountry.
The 2020 Lionshead Fire damaged these trails. See the NF Site for closures.
As always, it is best to call the local Ranger District for trail conditions and other restrictions prior to riding, as the NF website may not contain trip-specific details.

From the FR320 TH, Red Lake Tr719 ascends 1000' in the first mile (to Red Lake). Intermediate riders may instead wish to start the ride from Triangle or Si Lake.
Additional terrain can be found on Rhododendron Rdg Tr564.
The ride starts at Red Lake Tr719, with Fish Lake Tr717 as a side spur to Si lake.
Many, many, many lakes in this area, so there are likely many unmarked trails to be explored, however please respect any wilderness area bike restrictions and not ride if it is posted as prohibited.
The forest service has increased the biking wilderness restriction postings the past few years. As always, no PCT biking.
Mosquitoes are ferocious in this area until August. Feel free to try the natural repellents, and avoid drinking carbonated drinks prior to riding, but Deet 100 may be the only protection from 'the swarm'.
