Phils Trail Area Mountain Biking and Hiking Topo Map

Map includes Bens Trail 50, Catch and Release Trail, COD Trail 71, Elfin Magic Trail 45, Grand Slam Trail 44, Kents Trail 43, KGB Trail 72, Marvins Trail, Phils Trail 42, Pine Drops Trail, Rock Stacker Trail, Storm King Trail 48 and Voodoo Trail 46 Mountain Biking and Hiking Trails.

Note: This ride could just as easily start from the Phils Tr42 FR4606 TH as a CCW loop with COD Tr71. COD Tr71 is somewhat easier when ridden from west to east and Phils Tr42 is the preferred way to reach Storm King Tr48.

TH: Ride from the Woodside Loop Rd TH, or the KGB Tr72 TH. Reach another small Cascade Hwy TH at 1mi, then hike-a-bike .3mi up a steep hillside. After a brief section of technical singletrack, pass the Elfin Magic Tr45 #23 intersection on the right at 1.7mi, bearing left to stay on COD Tr71. Cross a doubletrack at 2.1mi and approach the Cascade Hwy at 3.2mi. The ride then parallels the highway as it steeply ascends a drainage, reaching FR4615 at 5.2mi after completing the steepest climb of the ride.

7.5mi: Go right onto Storm King Tr48 at #32 intersection. Cross several doubletracks then dogleg to the right at the 8.8mi doubletrack to rejoin the trail.

9.6mi: Go right onto Grand Slam Tr44 at #27 intersection. Pass through a 5 way doubletrack-trail intersection at 10.4mi then cross FR4615 at 11.6mi and FR4610 at the 11.9mi #22 intersection. Pass the Voodoo Tr46 #15 intersection at 13.3mi and cross Elfin Magic Tr45 #11 intersection at 14mi, and keep on riding the Grand Slam.

14.7mi: Go right onto KGB Tr72 at the #9 intersection and ride back to the Woodside Loop Rd TH, then go right to return to the COD Tr71 TH.
