Gray Butte Area Mountain Biking and Hiking Topo Map

Map includes Gray Butte Tr852, Henderson Flats OHV Trails, Summit Trail, Wolf Tree Trail, River Trail, Burma Road Mountain Biking and Hiking Trails.

Covered on both Area maps, the Henderson Flats OHV area has 18mi of trails over nearly 1500 acres in the Crooked River National Grassland and is open from April through November.

Trails are open to Class I (Quads, 3-wheelers less than 50" wide and 800 pounds) and Class III (motorcycles) ATVs.

Gray Butte CCW loop from the Skull Hollow CG

TH: From the Skull Hollow (Grasslands) CG ascend FR5720, passing the Cole loop intersection, then FR5720 at 0.9mi.

2.3mi: Pass the FR57 intersection on the right and continue the ascent, to the abandoned orchard.

2.9mi: At the TH sign, go left onto Gray Butte Tr852 and descend to the Ridge Rider Tr854 - Cole Loop intersection.

5.7mi: Go left onto Ridge Rider Tr854 - Cole Loop and descend to the FR5720 intersection.

6.6mi: Just prior to the FR5720 intersection, go left to remain on Ridge Rider Tr854 - Cole Loop and continue the descent alongside FR5720.

8mi: Cross FR5720, cross a creek, then return to the TH.
