There are some side trails and the flat terrain is favored by locals out for an easy hike.

Combining Salmon Creek Tr4365 with nearby Aubrey Mountain Tr3554 and a section of the Eugene to Pacific Crest Tr3559 make the ride more interesting.

Eugene to Pacific Crest Tr3559 continues on to the epic Bunchgrass Rdg Tr3559 ride.

Directions: See Map. There is a TH on either side of the bridge, just prior to FR24 on Fish Hatchery Rd. The Fish Hatchery may also allow parking when not busy. View Larger Map. No Map?.

  • TH: Ride Tr4233 and Tr4231 to Tr4365 to Salmon Creek Falls, then return back to FR207.
  • 4.6mi: Go right on Fr207 and climb (or crawl) 1100' in 1.6mi, to Aubrey Mountain Tr3554.
  • 6.2mi: Go left onto Aubrey Mountain Tr3554 or continue to the end of FR207, then ride 1.6mi. to the end of Aubrey Mountain Tr3554 and back. This ridge contains many connector trails between Aubrey Mountain Tr3554 and Eugene to Pacific Crest Tr3559, so bring a topo map.
  • 9.3mi: Go right onto Eugene to Pacific Crest Tr3559 and descend to the TH by the landing strip, with some steep switchbacks along the way. Mileage at this point may differ, depending on how much time was spent at the ridge top.
  • 12.8mi: Go left at the landing strip road and descend past the railroad tracks, to Co. Rd. 6170 (Fish Hatchery Rd). Go right and ride back to TH.
