Breitenbush Area Topo Map

  • TH: This is the shortest full loop to hike in this area, aside from the 2mi Crown Lake loop. The hike can be extended by starting from the Guard Station and hiking the gorge trail.
  • Plenty of other loop options, most of which would require backcountry camping and a shuttle. Expect Jefferson Park to be snowed in till late Spring.

Coffin Mountain - Bruno Meadows

Across SR22 from Marion Forks CG, this popular day hike is short enough for an OAB, with some time required to set up a shuttle.

The lower elevation Bugaboo Ridge Tr3423 and Bruno Meadows Tr3424 wander through Douglas fir and Western Hemlock, with Noble fir near the Tombstone Nature Tr3420 ridgeline.
